The Role :

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our team in a dynamic environment that specializes in custom-printed packaging production. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong focus on quality, speed, and excellence in maintaining and troubleshooting our production machinery and facility infrastructure. The Manufacturing Technician will play a key role in supporting production goals by ensuring the highest standards of equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and upholding safety and quality.

Strategic Responsibilities & Deliverables :

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance and inspections on production machinery to ensure optimal operation
  • Quickly and effectively address breakdowns, minimizing downtime and impact on production schedules
  • Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
  • Order inventory for maintenance parts, tools, and supplies, coordinating with vendors as needed
  • Work with engineering and production teams to implement enhancements to machines and workflows
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address and prioritize maintenance needs

Basic Qualifications :

  • At least one year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in printing, packaging, or similar industries
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Candidates must be flexible
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of production equipment, including label presses, die cutters, and folding carton machines
  • Experience with HP Indigo press machines is a plus
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
