Responsibilities Work in the MRI department serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients Cardiac MRI scheduling on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Assignment includes both inpatient and outpatient imaging on Saturdays along with emergency cases Facility equipped with two MRI units : Siemens Espree and Siemens SOLA Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 1 : 30 PM to 10 : 00 PM No weekend shifts or on-call required Floating may occur within the facility and scope of practice as needed Main responsibilities include performing a variety of MRI procedures solo and as part of a team Training on department protocols and orientation provided based on contract length Assignment may require flexing to cover varied patient populations and case types including cardiac MRIs First time travelers are accepted for this position No blocked scheduling allowed Holiday coverage follows a rotation based on the number of holidays during the assignment Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO), with no RTO permitted the first week of assignment Compliance with all facility orientation and documentation requirements is mandatory for start Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift in the same unit Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent MRI technologist experience Current MRI Technologist credentialing (ARRT MRI or equivalent) License required if applicable Ability to work major holidays as assigned Two supervisory references required for consideration Must not have been employed by the facility system as perm / PRN within the past year Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618954.
