Collections Manager

The Collections Manager is responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. The manager also oversees the AR Collectors.

What you'll do :

• Reviews open accounts for collection efforts. Makes collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relationships.
• Responds to telephone inquiries and assists in solving questions related to the status of customer accounts, documents status of collection efforts
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, short payments, customer reconciliations and processing of credit card payments and posting of them.
• Accountable for reducing delinquency of assigned accounts.
• Must communicate with sales and senior management when necessary regarding issues with problem accounts.
• Trains, mentors, and coaches AR Collectors.
