We have an exciting opportunity for an Energetics Engineer to join our team in Michigan. We are seeking a candidate with subject matter expertise in the development and qualification of aerospace-related pyrotechnic and energetic components, such as gas generators, initiators, and igniters.

The Energetics Engineer will be responsible for :

  • Creating requirements, specifications, and verifying compliance throughout the product life cycle

Interpreting applicable regulations, requirements, and safety standards

Designing, analyzing, and supporting the manufacturing of components and propellants

Planning, executing, and analyzing development and qualification testing

Preparing, documenting, and communicating test plans and reports

Qualifications

10+ years of experience developing and qualifying energetic components

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical or project management discipline

  • Knowledge of requirements verification / validation processes
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

    Familiarity with ammunition and explosive certification processes

    U.S. citizenship required

    Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
