Job descriptionPerform inspection and testing activities during FAI, IQC, IPQC, FQC, and throughout various manufacturing processes. Generate accurate, detailed inspection data sheets in alignment with cGMP and Hydrafacial Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Properly document inspections, prepare first article documentation, and compile certification packages. Conduct product build documentation reviews and end-item data package reviews. Generate nonconformance reports for discrepancies identified during inspections. Use conventional inspection tools—such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.—to ensure precise measurements. Verify inspection equipment qualification and calibration prior to use. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately. Conduct visual inspections to detect defects or non-conformities in products. Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records. Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality. Report quality-related issues to leads and managers in a timely manner. Follow all company safety procedures and perform duties in a safe, effective manner. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or quality inspection certification is a plus. 2–3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with conventional inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong understanding of GDP, cGMP, and QMS requirements. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience generating nonconformance reports and inspection documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently, cross train, and collaborate professionally in a team environment. Experience handling pallet jacks and other material-moving equipment. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, equipment, and varying temperatures. Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, lifting, pulling / pushing, standing, sitting, reaching, walking, and using inspection tools for extended periods. Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.

The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in ensuring products meet established quality standards throughout the entire manufacturing process. This position is responsible for performing inspections and testing activities—including First Article Inspections (FAI), Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC)—while maintaining accurate and detailed inspection records.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality or safety concerns and contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Long Beach, CA, requiring on-site presence five days a week. Available schedules include :
- Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM–2 : 30 PM
- Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM–3 : 30 PM
- Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM
