General Description
The Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS) Therapeutic Case Aid provides short-term supportive assistance alongside IPS Therapists in carrying out the delivery of program services to youth in care.

Work Environment
This employee operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to visit families in their homes. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
Expected Hours of Work
Work schedules are based on the needs of the children, youth, and families served by the agency and often include nights and weekends. The Therapeutic Case Aide must be available for weekend and evening hours. The case aide is full-time at 32 hours per week. Schedule for the case aide is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11 am-7 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am-5 pm. The schedule will be developed with and approved by the Supervisor if the clients' needs change. A work week is defined as Sunday to Saturday.
Travel
The Therapeutic Case Aide may travel throughout the Chicagoland area as required to meet the needs of assigned families and to participate in professional development activities.
Educational Requirements / General Qualifications
Minimum Degree Required : BS / BA
Degree Preferred : Bachelor's degree in social work or a social service-related degree.
Minimum Years of Experience : At least 1 year of social service or related experience preferred
Licensure : N / A
Information Technology Skills Required : Microsoft Office Proficiency
Other Requirements :
Our contract requires background checks that include : criminal, education, and motor vehicle.
