Counseling in Schools, Inc. (CIS) is seeking applicants to work directly in a NYC 6-12th grade public school, providing afterschool program support to a Community School. CIS is currently interviewing for a Part-time position located in Brooklyn, 11201. Monday-Friday  from 12 : 30- 5 : 30pm. Applicants must submit a resume and cover letter.

The After-school Assistant supports the program by carrying out tasks that ensure programs run smoothly and we can provide quality services to administration, students, and their families. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of activities that will assist this organization's leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

After-school Programming

• Participate in clubs and after-school activities.
• Distribute snacks to students.
• Sub for teachers as needed.
• Monitor attendance reports and logs of daily participation.
• Make daily phone calls and communication with students and families.

Providing administrative support to Community School Director and CIS team.

Assist in Planning of community school events

Compensation : Salary Range : $22.00-$25.00 hourly; commensurate with experience

Additional Information :

This position is part-time Monday-Friday in-person

Hours are 12 : 30pm-5 : 30pm
