What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols inside the retail or mall location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activities within the location.

Document security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address concerns and uphold site-specific policies.

Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
