OR RN – Weekend Nights (12-hr) – Hendersonville, NC\n\nStart Date : 12 / 22 / 2025 | Contract : 13 weeks | Hours : Up to 36 hrs / week (facility may cancel 1 shift biweekly)\n\nFacility Highlights\n\nBest Place to Work & Best Employee Recognition Program – Best of Blue Ridge 2024\n\n#1 Hospital & #1 Emergency Room – 7 years in a row\n\nPosition Details\n\nShift : 12-hr Weekend Nights (Fri–Sun, 7p– 7a)\n\nOrientation : 5x8-hour days\n\nFloat / Call : Call rotation required; no callback\n\nHolidays : One 24-hour call per contract (New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas)\n\nMeetings : Monthly (4th week)\n\nRequirements\n\nLicensure / Certs : Active NC or Compact RN license, AHA BLS\n\nExperience : 2–3 years in a full-service OR, including at least one successful travel assignment\n\nCurrent Experience Required : \n\nGeneral, Ortho, Joints, Urology, Endo, Trauma, Robotics (DaVinci)\n\nMust include Cataracts / Retinas, Vascular (Thrombectomy), and C- sections\n\nCharting : EPIC (within last 6 months)\n\nUnit Overview\n\nDepartment : Operating Room | ORs : 10\n\nHighly collaborative and positive team culture – values resilience, adaptability, and teamwork\n\nScrubs : Provided by facility\n\nAdditional Info\n\nCompliance Due : 7 business days before start\n\nWeekend Option Policy : \n\nPTO limited to 1 weekend per quarter, except 2 consecutive weekends allowed for one spring / summer and one fall / winter vacation\n\nWeekends defined as Saturday / Sunday; Fridays and Mondays may be taken additionally
