About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 : 30 - 23 : 00

Experience : 2 years required; will consider 1 year if experience is from a Level 1 trauma facility.

License : Valid state license required at the time of submission.

Certifications : BLS required.

Must-Have :

Scrub experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.

Circulate experience required.

Experience in cardiac and thoracic cases primarily.

Description :

The position requires scrub and circulate experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.

The shift will be 3x12 hours from 10 : 30 to 23 : 00.

There is no call and no weekend work is required, with possible holiday coverage.

First-time travelers are accepted if they have more than 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma facility.

Experience should include open and endovascular vascular procedures, liver, kidney, pancreas transplants, and Whipple procedures.

The facility is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with a preference for BSN candidates.

All staff must contribute to entering missing instruments into the CensiTrac system.

The department handles urgent and emergent cases and maintains a high level of care in the region.

The expectation is to arrive in the operating room and set up within 40 minutes for emergencies.

Heart and lung transplant experience is needed for any night shift work.

Candidates must have scrub experience and will float within the service line as needed.

Professional references are preferred, and a background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

This role involves a dynamic and fast-paced work environment requiring efficient teamwork.

All candidates are expected to adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
