Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Rehabilitation

Description

Working hours are from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 PM and will work one Saturday a month conducting stress testing.

Monday-Wednesday-Friday in the Cardiac Rehab.

Tuesday-Thursday in Pulmonary Rehab.

Delivers, organizes, and develops the content for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. May also assist with the delivery of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. May be required to conduct fitness assessments exercise prescriptions and health and fitness consultations for patients in Cardiac Rehabilitation and / or members of a 'wellness' center within the facility. May serve as an exercise test technologist in the Nuclear Cardiology department.

Required qualifications :

• Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in in health / medical-related field of study or equivalent education / experience.
• Bachelors Degree plus 3 years' experience or Master's Degree in exercise physiology with completed internship and training.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
