Inventory Specialist

Orders, receives, stores, and maintains inventory of food products and supplies.

Responsibilities :

• Maintains all storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Conducts inventory.
• Places all food and supply orders for the department to maintain required levels.
• Receives all department deliveries following food safety guidelines.
• Checks deliveries for damaged, spoiled, or out of date items.
• Follows First In, First Out (FIFO) when putting away orders.
• Labels and dates items as required.
• May prepare and deliver floor stock items.

Education and Certification Requirements :

No Degree or any other education earned (Required)

Additional Job Information :

Complexity of Work : Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience : No experience required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :

75 lbs Non-Patient = 20%

75 lbs Non-Patient = 60%
