Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician specializing in sterile compounding within a home infusion environment. Located in Littleton, CO, this role offers day shifts from 8 : 30 am to 6 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays, spanning approximately eight weeks before potential direct hire.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Fill prescriptions and prepare IV admixtures under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to accurately enter prescription data for reimbursement processing.
  • Assist Pharmacists in the final verification and packaging of medications to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Support Pharmacy Management in inventory control, including receiving, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and participating in physical inventories.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, performing equipment checks for calibration and sanitation in conjunction with the Technician Supervisor.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Proven sterile compounding skills.
  • Experience working in home infusion or inpatient hospital pharmacy settings.
  • Proficient in clean room protocols and standards.
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Colorado.
  • National pharmacy technician certification.
  • This role demands attention to detail, adherence to regulatory standards, and the ability to work effectively within a team focused on patient care and medication safety. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to transition from contract to permanent status based on performance.
