About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience preferred in emergency and / or critical care

License : Current Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or multi-state

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have : Experience with charting systems, specifically Meditech

Description :

This position is for a night-shift Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.

Travelers are not required to pick up on-call shifts.

Emergency and critical care experience is preferred.

A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.

The patient ratio for this unit is typically 4 patients per nurse.

Charge experience is preferred.

Candidates must have experience with the Meditech charting system.

Candidates must hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and may also require other certifications such as CPI and TNCC.

Skills in various emergency-related medical procedures are necessary.

The patient age groups range from neonates to geriatrics.

The daily census for the unit is between 40-50 patients.

The average number of visits per day and the number of rooms and beds is consistent with the unit's capacity.

Travelers must keep requests for time off to a minimum and should expect to work some holidays.

On-call requirements will necessitate arrival to the facility within 30 minutes if needed.

Any floating among departments is subject to the client's policies and standards.
