• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM
• Weekend requirement : 1 weekend per month
• On-call requirement : 1 day per week
• Nurse to patient ratio : 1 : 1
• No floating requirements
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Required certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), RN License (state or compact)
• Verbal CPI hire required
• Apply nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide direct and safe patient care with proficiency and independence
• Consult with staff, physicians, and management on nursing problems
• Demonstrate efficient time management skills and teamwork
• Practice five rights of medication administration
• Act as patient advocate and respect confidentiality
• Participate in hospital and department quality activities
• Maintain clinical competency and continue learning new skills
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
