OAHS is currently seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to provide individual and / or group therapy. Working with clients in a clinical setting suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, loneliness, life transition, medication / pain management, behavioral disorders, and end-of-life planning. Duties include :

• Assess, complete diagnostic assessment, develop treatment plans, initiate interventions, and offer clinical impressions
• Advocate, mediate and negotiate in collaboration with patients, families and the healthcare team
• Maximize the psychosocial functioning of patients and families through the provision of counseling services that aid in the adjustment to chronic illness, treatment barriers, lifestyle changes, futility and end of life issues.
• Provide expert information, education and professional consultation to other disciplines regarding comprehensive patient and family care

Position is full time, working 32-40 hours per week and qualifies for our full benefits package (health care, PTO, retirement etc.)

Requirements : Hold an active license / credentialed in good standing as an LICSW in another jurisdiction or have a current and active LPCC license issued by BBHT and be eligible to obtain licensure in MN and SD. Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in related field. Must be in good standing with Board of Social Work or Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.
