Job Title : Project Manager I
Reports to : Project Management Manager
Pay : Pay will be based on level and experience. Accepting applicants in the career path level I, or II.
Job Summary
Working as an entry-level project manager involves being able to plan, track, coordinate, implement, and finalize projects according to the specifications and deadlines. Support Project Managers 2 and 3 with the completion of project objectives and effectively manage project risks.

Essential Duties
- Provides direction and support to project team.
- Ensures projects are implemented according to requirements.
- Monitor project progress continuously and create detailed scheduled reports on measurable data.
- Serves as the primary point of contact to clients regarding project updates, issues, deliverables, and scope changes.
- Tracks budgets, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and suggests corrective actions.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Required Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of development process : development, testing, and deployment as well as work breakdown, dependencies, responsibilities.Understand cost analyst and financial statements.Knowledgeable in Microsoft Project Management software, Microsoft Office software.Knowledgeable of AutoCAD preferred.Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.Mechanical aptitude and ability to visualize complex problems and solutions preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to maintain workflow.Ability to prioritize work tasks and delegate when appropriate.Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or other related field OR 4 years of relevant work experience as a project coordinator, assistance project manager, junior project manager, or related position in lieu of degree.Physical Requirements
Consistent walking, talking, hearing, sitting, standing, repetitive motions, movements requiring fine motors skills and visual acuity.Rare carrying, reaching, handling, grasping, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling, balancing, stooping.Work is typically performed in an office environment though certain tasks / projects may occur outside or in a manufacturing environment.Safety glasses, steel / composite toed shoes, and hearing protection when working in manufacturing environment.Company Culture & Values

Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time in support of project planning, installation, and / or vendor testing.Undergo Motor Vehicle Record driver monitoring in accordance with company policy.Maintain an acceptable driving record as per company standards and as is defined in Volm Driver Policies.Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be a minimum of 21 years of age.Maintain a minimum personal auto liability insurance limit of $300,000 per accident and $100,000 personal property.Must be able to travel internationally.Must possess a valid passport and not have any legal restrictions preventing such international travel.Driver Qualification
The ability to drive a company owned / leased vehicle or personal vehicle on behalf of the company may be required. Inclusion in the company’s driver qualification program is required to drive a company owned / leased vehicle or personal vehicle.
Becoming a qualified driver includes :
Agree to the company driving policies that apply to company owned / leased vehicle or personal vehicle as applicable.Possess and maintain a valid driver license and be a minimum of 21 years of age.Maintain an acceptable driving record, as evidenced by completion of a baseline motor vehicle record check and ongoing monitoring.When driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the company, must provide a copy of the declaration page from personal auto insurance that shows the policy dates and minimum coverage amounts ($300,000 bodily injury per accident / $100,000 property damage per accident or if driving less than 5 hours / 200 miles a year $50,000 bodily injury per accident / $10,000 property damage per accident or the state minimum, whichever is more).
