Position Summary
Responsible for the assembly of industrial equipment and components.
• Assembly is more of a construction based.
• Utilizes working knowledge and assistance of the installation of different types of major components.
• Understands and interprets schematic diagrams to install components.
• Operate Hoist or moving / lifting equipment.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Capable of troubleshooting various issues
• Requires frequent operation of heavy equipment such as cranes, welding tools, and scissor lift.
• Ability to solve problems with limited supervision.
Required Experience & Skills
• Understands and interpret schematic diagrams to install components.
• Be able to run a pressure test.
• Read tape measure and basic math skills.
• General knowledge of Rigging and lifting components.
• Knowledge of Forklift and Man Lift
• Capable of Tack Weld
Preferred Education
• High school diploma or 3 years of relevant experience and/or training
• Vocational or technical education a plus
