PROVEN is hiring a Financial Data Analyst on behalf of our client. This role is a C2C or 1099 contract staff augmentation position with a company.This role is the connective tissue between them-owning SQL development,semantic modeling, Fabric workspace governance, and stakeholder alignment to turn requirements into accurate, trusted finance insights.
Responsibilities :
Model & Transform : Build clean, well-documented SQL in Snowflake (views,
CTEs, window functions) to power Finance reporting (project performance,
revenue, product usage).
Shape the Semantic Layer : Design star-schema models and measures (DAX)
in Power BI / Fabric semantic models; maintain metric definitions / KPIs and
prevent drift.
Own Refresh & Access : Administer Fabric workspaces (capacity, permissions,
deployment pipelines, data source credentials / refresh, gateway / personal-cloud-
connection policy) and uphold RLS where needed.
Salesforce → Snowflake : Translate Salesforce object relationships (Accounts,
Opportunities / Orders, Products / Line items, custom project objects) into reliable
reporting tables.
Quality & Reconciliation : Investigate data anomalies, reconcile to source-of-
truth (CRM / Finance systems), and publish runbooks / tests so issues don't repeat.
Stakeholder Delivery : Drive requirements to delivered dashboards-facilitate
reviews, UAT, and change control; produce exec-ready views (exploratory +
leadership snapshots).
Must-haves
Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling in Snowflake (joins, windowing,
performance basics).
Hands-on Power BI : data modeling, DAX for measures, page / report design for
exec and exploratory use.
Working knowledge of Fabric administration : capacities, workspace roles,
semantic models, refresh, gateways.
Familiarity with Salesforce objects relevant to project performance and revenue
reporting.
Proven experience driving stakeholder requirements → delivered solutions; crisp
documentation and communication.
