Location : Farmingdale NY (Service area includes NYC and surrounding areas up to 200-300 miles)

Position Type : Full-time Field and Office Work

Experience Level : 1-3 years in stack testing

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Stack Test Technician with 1-3 years of experience in stack testing to join our team. This position involves both field and office work including equipment maintenance reporting test results and data reduction for reports. The role requires a strong knowledge of EPA testing methods and the ability to work independently in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic attention to detail and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform stack testing and ensure compliance with EPA testing methods (1-5 7E 10 25A 18 29).

Conduct equipment maintenance and troubleshoot when needed.

Report test results and compile data for detailed reports.

Travel to various job sites primarily in the NYC area with occasional service within amile radius of Farmingdale.

Operate and maintain Thermo CEMs (experience with Thermo CEMs is a plus).

Use 320 FTIR for analysis (experience with FTIR is a plus).

Perform work at heights and lift up to 45 pounds.

Drive the company van and pull a lab trailer to job sites.

Qualifications :

1-3 years of experience in stack testing.

Familiarity with EPA testing methods (1-5 7E 10 25A 18 29).

Ability to work from heights and lift up to 45lbs.

OSHA 10-hour certification (required).

Valid drivers license and ability to operate a company van and pull a trailer.

Strong computer skills and experience with data reduction and reporting.

QSTI certification (preferred but not required).

Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively.

Compensation :

Competitive salary based on experience. Range of $85000-$100000 annual
