Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CVOR Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : CVOR Surgical Technologist Location : Reno, NV Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10-Hour Day Shift, Monday–Friday (Start time : 6 : 30 AM), with 7–10 on-call shifts per month (nights / weekends only) Job Responsibilities and Requirements : Prepare supplies, equipment, and instruments for surgical procedures First and second scrub duties required in Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) cases Anticipate needs of the surgical team and assist throughout the procedure Perform case cleanup, room turnovers, and assist in patient positioning / movement Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold privacy and professionalism standards Pull supplies / equipment / suture for assigned cases and open surgical rooms Conduct instrument, sponge, and sharps counts with RN per department protocols Must live 100 miles away from facility (travel requirement) Required Skills & Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Surgical Technologist Must be proficient in both first and second scrub roles NBSTSA certification required Current BLS certification required High School diploma required About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies : Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
