Vision for the Role : The Lease Manager is responsible for administering and managing leaseholder agreements at the Lake campus (Subdivision) and overseeing staff rental and lease agreements across all Hume locations (Hume Lake, SoCal, and New England). This dual-scope role ensures accurate, current, and compliant lease documentation while fostering positive relationships with leaseholders and staff tenants. The Lease Manager works closely with Operations, Finance, and HR to maintain alignment between property management practices and Hume’s mission and values.

The Role :
Leaseholder Relations – Lake Campus
Manage, update, and renew all leaseholder agreements for the Lake campus.Serve as the primary point of contact for leaseholders regarding questions, renewals, and property use.Track lease timelines and proactively initiate renewals or negotiations.Maintain and update leaseholder documents (e.g., Standards of Conduct, Leaseholder Rules, policies).Provide orientation and guidance for new leaseholders.Screen and coordinate with new or transferring leaseholder applicants.Resolve lease-related concerns, disputes, or violations with professionalism and diplomacy.Support cabin rental and sublease processes in alignment with Hume policies.Collaborate with Operations on subdivision maintenance (e.g., roads, tree removal, utilities).Assist in mobilizing leaseholders for volunteerism and partnership with Hume’s mission.Staff Housing & Rental Agreements – All Locations
Administer and maintain staff housing rental and lease agreements across all Hume campuses.Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate agreements, compliance, and billing for staff housing.Track staff housing lease terms and proactively manage renewals or transitions.Serve as the point of contact for staff tenants regarding housing agreements and property standards.Maintain records and databases related to staff housing and rentals.Report on staff housing utilization and needs to the Senior Director of Operations.Collaborate with Operations on maintenance and readiness of staff housing units.Work Activities
Regular meetings and communication with leaseholders and staff tenants.Reviewing and processing leaseholder agreements and staff housing rentals.Coordinating cross-departmentally with Operations, HR, and Finance.Tracking, updating, and reporting on lease and rental data across locations.Our Ideal Candidate :
