Job Title : Application Support

Location : Austin, TX (3 days / week), open for REMOTE as well

Pay rate $30-33 / hr on W2. (NO C2C)

    • Projects & Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • The role is system administration heavy, with a strong focus on enterprise application support using Lenel OnGuard (access control & video management systems).
  • Core work includes system administration and maintenance of enterprise applications.
  • Monitoring replication, log files, and identifying / resolving errors.
  • Managing and troubleshooting access control and video management platforms.
  • Working with offline scanners, networking devices, and triaging technical issues.
  • Maintaining and managing databases : running queries, producing ad-hoc reports, supporting integrations, and updates.
  • Provides global support across data centers, offices, warehouses, and authentication systems.
  • Acts as part of the support team for end users (approx. 40% of time), handling tickets related to projects or operational issues.

    • Team Structure

  • Works closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve support tickets.
  • Regular collaboration with internal teams and external vendors (working with Customer Success Managers).
  • Participation in priority-setting meetings, ticket review calls, and weekly team meetings.
  • Rotational on-call support (weekly); occasional after-hours escalation, but not frequent.

    • Skills & Requirements

  • Access control solutions (Lenel OnGuard, Gentech, Mindstone)
  • Video management systems
  • Tableau dashboards (basic edits and modifications)
  • Strong hands-on enterprise experience with Lenel OnGuard
  • 3+ years relevant experience

    • Nice to Have

  • Vendor certifications (Lenel OnGuard, HID, Lenel, Honeywell, or Genetec)
  • Networking troubleshooting (devices, connectivity issues)
  • Awareness of cloud infrastructure / SaaS application support
