Job description

St. Peter's Cancer Care Center needs a LOCUM Hematology / Oncology provider starting as soon as credentialed!

Schedule :

  • The facility is looking for a provider that is available for 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off. Full time providers are also accepted!
  • Open to M-F rotating weekend coverage model as well

Details :

  • Practice Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient
  • Reason for Coverage : Coverage while we recruit for full-time Oncologists
  • Dates of Coverage : asap upon credentialing
  • Patient Population for Required Coverage : Adult
  • Number of Physicians in Practice : 3
  • Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes we have 4 full-time Radiation Oncologists
  • How Many APPs Provide Coverage : 5 full-time APs
  • Clinical Area : Hematology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting, Hematology - Inpatient Setting
  • 50% Hem, 50% Onc
  • Trauma Level / Designation (Hospital) : Community Hospital
  • Documentation System / EMR : Epic
  • Facility will reimburse for the following costs : Flight, Hotel, Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 1 month
  • Please Note : Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.

    • Requirement description :

  • Board Certified in Medical Oncology OR Hem / Onc- Required
  • ACLS - Required
  • NY State License - Required
  • Conversion rate cap of 25k- Required

    • ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

    Weekend Requirements : 1 : 5 weekend rotation
