Travel Nursing Job Details

Job Title : Med / Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment

Location : Oconomowoc, WI 53066 (Lake Country region)

Healthcare Facility : 2E Med / Surg Unit (22 beds)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : October 7, 2025

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), every other weekend & holiday rotation

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2100-$2250

Float Requirements : May float to nearby healthcare facilities and similar Med / Surg units as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Wisconsin RN license (Registered Nurse)

BLS and NIHSS certifications required (attach upon submittal)

Associate Degree or Nursing Certificate required; BSN preferred

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience in an acute care hospital

At least one completed travel nursing contract preferred

Recent Epic EMR charting experience (within past 12 months)

Proficient in telemetry, cardiac drip management, and heart rhythm identification

Willingness to train for and work as a charge nurse

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients (patient ratio up to 1 : 6)

Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage cardiac drips, and identify heart rhythms

Float to other Med / Surg units and healthcare facilities as needed

Participate in weekend and holiday rotations

Train for and fulfill charge nurse duties

Document patient care using Epic electronic medical records (EMR)

Demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment
