Quality Assurance Specialist – On-Site

Location : Columbus NE 68601

Pay : $31.00 per hour

Schedule : Full-Time, On-Site

Job Type : Contract-to-Hire | Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our on-site team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills to ensure compliance with cGMPs , ISO standards , and company Quality System requirements.

As a QA Specialist, you’ll support quality investigations, review product and process data, and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to maintain an effective quality management system. This position plays a key role in ensuring that products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Required : High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field

Experience :

  • 1–3 years of experience in GMP-regulated environments (pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotech preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Systems , cGMPs , and ISO requirements
  • Experience supporting customer complaint investigations and quality improvement initiatives

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation abilities
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Proficient in problem solving and root cause analysis tools
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet investigation timelines
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Regular, punctual attendance is an essential function of this position
