Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position is for a Special Education Teacher to lead a self-contained Life Skills classroom in a high school setting in Blanco, TX. The role requires a dedicated educator with a strong foundation in special education laws, the ARD process, and IEP implementation, bined with experience or familiarity with Life Skills programs. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing student behavior and implementing behavior intervention plans to create a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with life skills needs within a self-contained classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in pliance with state laws and ARD mittee decisions
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior intervention plans and positive support strategies
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to support student success
• Maintain thorough records of student progress and participate in ARD meetings
• Utilize strong organizational and munication skills to ensure efficient classroom management and stakeholder engagement
