Global Head Of Credit Research
State Street Investment Management is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to serve as the Global Head of Credit Research within our Global Fixed Income team. This role is responsible for overseeing the global credit research function, managing fundamental credit analysis processes, and supporting investment decisions across a range of fixed income strategies.
Key responsibilities include :
- Leading the global credit research team covering SSIM's existing investment grade, structured credit, leveraged loan and liquidity capabilities.
- Maintaining credit research framework for money market and securities lending reinvestment activities.
- Collaborating with teams across the Firm in the development of innovative credit products, including digital capabilities.
- Developing and maintaining robust credit models and frameworks to assess issuer and sector-level risks.
- Collaborating with portfolio managers to integrate credit insights into investment strategies and portfolio construction.
- Overseeing the production of timely and actionable credit research and publications.
- Engaging with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders to communicate credit strategy and outlook.
- Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the research team.
Qualifications :
15+ years of experience in credit research and fixed income and money market investing.Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, or PhD) in Finance, Economics, or a related field.Strong analytical and leadership skills with a proven track record of managing investment teams.Deep understanding of global credit markets, issuers, and macroeconomic drivers.Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the firm in client and industry settings.Preferred certifications :
CFA designation is desirable.Reporting line :
This role reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer, Global Fixed Income Solutions.
Salary range : $225,000 - $337,500 Annual
