We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in managing vendor relationships, ensuring accurate invoice processing, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This is a long-term contract position offering stability and the opportunity to contribute to a global organization.

Responsibilities :

• Assign and maintain vendor numbers in alignment with company policies to prevent fraud and minimize risk.
• Oversee and update Vendor Master Files, ensuring timely and accurate data management.
• Analyze daily vendor change reports and confirm updates within the Global Vendor Management System.
• Collaborate with internal departments and international offices to ensure smooth communication and compliance.
• Verify the accuracy of processed invoices and ensure they meet company standards.
• Research and input complex invoices, addressing discrepancies as needed.
• Support monthly reporting tasks, including preparing vendor files for tax documentation such as 1099s.
• Handle regulatory notices and discrepancies while validating records with relevant agencies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and provide backup support for team members when required.
