✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse at J. Walter Wood Treatment Facility in Montgomery, Alabama. ✨

The J. Walter Wood Treatment Facility is in the capital city of Alabama. It features 24 dormitory sites and is adjacent to a year-round educational institution in collaboration with the Montgomery County Board of Education.

Pay : Starting Hourly Rate is $20 per hour

What you will do : The Nurse works as a staff member of the Student Services Team. Primarily responsible for the health care of the students, maintain all student medical files and educates staff and students on health issues, first aid, infection control and emergency procedures. The nurse reports to the Program Director.

To be considered you should : Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Must be able to provide for the general health care of students and staff within the scope of the license. Administers immunizations and assists with all health maintenance activities including but not limited to TB Screens, Hepatitis Band, and Flu Vaccines. Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from Alabama. Be at least 21 years of age. Have a desire to work with at-risk youth. Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule : 24 hours per week. Sunday-Saturday, however schedule may vary or be adjusted due to business demand or unforeseen circumstances.
