An Intensivist locum tenens opportunity is available west of Chicago, IL. The 159-bed facility (10 bed ICU, 9 bed step down unit) is seeking coverage for January and February of 2015, 10-15 shifts per month. You would work with another Intensivist, seeing patients in both the ICU and step-down unit. Coverage model is 10-hour day (7am - 5pm in house) with overnight call which is primarily giving orders over the phone and following up in the morning, yet for emergent situations, may need to report into the hospital. Procedures are standard ICU. Qualified candidates shall be Board Certified in Critical Care medicine and must have a clean history.
