Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in pulmonary function testing.

License : NYS Respiratory Therapist license.

Certifications : BLS, ACLS.

Must-Have :

• 3 years of experience in Spirometry, Plethysmography, DLCO, 6-Minute Walk Test, and ABG.
• 2 years of ICU experience.
• Working knowledge of current standards of mechanical ventilation and ventilators.
• Experience with intubation.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
• Graduation from an accredited American Medical Association Respiratory Program (A.A.S or B.S.).

Description :

This is a 59-day assignment.

The position requires a work schedule of Monday to Friday, with weekends mandatory.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in pulmonary function testing.

Experience must include work in a functioning lab.

Applicants must have experience in Spirometry, Plethysmography, DLCO, 6-Minute Walk Test, and ABG.

A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.

Candidates must hold a valid NYS Respiratory Therapist license.

Graduation from an accredited American Medical Association Respiratory Program is necessary.

A working knowledge of current standards of mechanical ventilation and ventilators is required.

Experience in intubation is preferred.

Knowledge of computer applications is essential.

Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
