We are looking for a dedicated Branch / Retail Banking Clerk to join our team in Seminole, Texas. As a key member of our banking operations, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to individual and small business clients. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to grow within a supportive and detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities :
- Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate credit and non-credit banking products and services.
- Manage and maintain account relationships, providing ongoing support both in-person and through various communication channels.
- Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and other banking operations, while adhering to established policies.
- Operate teller windows efficiently and ensure compliance with all cash handling procedures.
- Assist clients in opening new accounts and completing consumer loan applications.
- Market banking services to existing and prospective customers to drive business growth.
- Stay informed about banking products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Uphold the highest level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions and customer interactions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve branch goals and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Previous experience in cash handling or retail banking is required.
- Familiarity with banking operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in marketing financial products and services to individuals and small businesses.
- Certification or ability to become certified to operate teller windows and conduct banking transactions.
- Knowledge of account opening procedures and consumer loan applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required.
