Contracts Counsel with JD

A company is looking for a Counsel, Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with attorneys and contracts managers on the contracts team

Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements from first draft to signature

Partner with internal teams to review contracts and identify risks while developing support materials to improve contracting processes

Required Qualifications

4-6 years of experience as the primary attorney for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, including two years in-house at a technology company

JD with active state bar admission

Proven ability to negotiate complex vendor, SaaS, and licensing agreements

Solid understanding of contract law and ability to articulate legal and business risks

Experience managing multiple contracts simultaneously with strong judgment in evaluating risks
