TITLE : Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Engineer

LOCATION : Pomona, CA 91768 / Hybrid 2 days in office

DURATION : 12 months With possible extension

Pay Rate : $100- $110 / hr on W2

Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload

• Perform structural and line design analysis using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-Caisson serving as the go-to expert for modeling and analysis across transmission and distribution.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance by overseeing QA / QC processes and adhering to company and site-specific safety standards.
• Review and design pole foundations, providing expert guidance on both new installations and evaluations of existing infrastructure.
• Support construction activities by coordinating with field teams to resolve design-related issues, conducting field inspections, and assisting with emergency restoration efforts due to wildfires, storms, or other incidents.
• Maintain and update design specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to Client's transmission engineering practice, mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
