FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER (AI-Enabled Applications)
GREATER PHOENIX AREA - HYBRID
$115,000 – $140,000 BASE + BONUS + BENEFITS
The Opportunity
We're partnering with a fast-growing technology organization modernizing core business applications by embedding Generative AI directly into real production workflows. This is not a research role — you'll be building AI-powered software products used by internal teams and customers.
The team is flexible on seniority and is open to mid-level through senior engineers who are strong builders, product-minded, and excited to work hands-on across the stack.
What You'll Be Working On
Building and maintaining full-stack applications that integrate LLMs into real business processes
Designing and developing backend APIs and services (primarily Python or Node.js / TypeScript)
Integrating GenAI capabilities such as RAG pipelines, embeddings, semantic search, and AI-driven workflows
Working within a modern cloud environment (AWS) to ship secure, scalable, production-grade systems
Collaborating closely with product, platform, and data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Contributing to the modernization of legacy systems and adoption of new internal platforms and tools
What We're Looking For
Strong experience as a software engineer building backend services and full-stack applications
Proficiency in Python and / or Node.js / TypeScript
Experience designing and consuming APIs, working with SQL and NoSQL databases
Hands-on exposure to GenAI / LLMs, with a solid understanding of concepts like RAG, embeddings, and AI integration patterns
Comfort picking up new tools, platforms, and technologies quickly
Experience working in cloud environments, ideally AWS
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with AI orchestration tools or internal AI platforms
Exposure to ontology-based systems or enterprise data platforms (e.g., Palantir or similar)
Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI / CD experience
Prior work in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where ownership matters
Why This Role
Broad scope and real ownership — you're building things that ship
Flexibility on seniority and background
Competitive compensation with room for senior-level impact
Opportunity to work at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI, without research overhead
A team that values pragmatic engineering and business outcomes
If you're excited to build real, production-ready AI software (not demos) and want meaningful ownership on a growing platform, APPLY.
