Overview
Senior MRO Maintenance Planner role at Chick-fil-A Supply. Reports to the Maintenance Manager and, with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities for the CFA Supply maintenance team at the Distribution Center (DC) in Elsmere, KY. Also manages the spare parts cage, orders parts, receives and disburses parts, and maintains appropriate spare parts inventory levels to minimize downtime when maintenance is required.

Responsibilities
Maintenance Scheduling Responsibilities
Prepare and update maintenance activities, plans and schedulesDetermine maintenance activities and their prioritiesAssign work orders to the maintenance team, track status / closure of work orders and monitor utilization of the maintenance teamEnsure maintenance activities are properly planned and executed, considering the production schedule and available resourcesCoordinate activities with the operations team and other personnel performing maintenance at the siteHelp establish criteria for a hierarchy of when different types of problems must be addressed (priority matrix)Enter scheduling / work order information into the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Monitor the effectiveness of the maintenance plan / scheduleMRO Planning Responsibilities
Operate spare parts cage and maintain spare parts inventory; identify spare parts inventory demand, establish min / max levels and order / receive spare partsEnsure adequate spare parts are on hand and accurately captured in CMMSMaintain listing of suppliers and contact informationEnsure incoming orders are accurate; reconcile parts ordered to parts receivedReview / approve spare part invoicesDisburse spare parts (including kitting parts) for work to be performedMaintain spare parts cage in an organized manner and safeguard partsEnsure warranty information is set up within CMMS upon initial contract establishment; maintain equipment in accordance with warranty agreements including use of spare partsPerform cycle counts or inventory counts on a predefined regular basisIdentify obsolete inventory and dispose of it properlyMinimum Qualifications
High school diploma3+ years of maintenance planning / scheduling and inventory management experience, preferably in food manufacturing and distribution operations or similarPrior experience using CMMSKnowledge of effective scheduling, estimating, and workflow processes in a maintenance environmentAbility to plan and schedule work and maintain accurate inventory recordsStrong interpersonal skills; team-oriented with ability to work independentlyGood written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and multitasking abilitiesAvailability for on-call support and shift flexibility as needed; ability to support multiple shiftsProficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skillsPreferred Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance planning / scheduling and inventory management experience in food manufacturing and distributionAssociate degree or equivalent work experience; certified maintenance technicianExperience in procurementKnowledge of leading practices in maintenance planning / scheduling and spare parts inventory managementAdditional Details
