Job description

Intellibright, a high-performance digital marketing agency and Google Partner, is seeking an experienced SEO Contractor to lead technical and content-focused SEO initiatives across client websites. This role is perfect for someone who is part strategist, part problem-solver—able to identify technical challenges, uncover growth opportunities, and execute hands-on optimizations.

You’ll work directly in WordPress, leverage industry-leading SEO tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams—including content, development, and strategy—to improve organic visibility, site performance, and rankings. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can translate technical insights into actionable recommendations that drive measurable growth.

What You’ll Do

Technical SEO :

  • Audit websites for crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema, and other technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SEO errors , including broken links, canonical issues, and redirect chains.
  • Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and taxonomy for maximum crawl efficiency.
  • Implement structured data and ensure compliance with Google guidelines.

Drive Content SEO :

  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify organic growth opportunities.
  • Develop content briefs and optimization recommendations to improve visibility.
  • Optimize on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, headers, schema, and internal linking.
  • Collaborate with writers and editors to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices.
  • Analyze & Report :

  • Monitor organic performance , traffic, and engagement using GA4, GSC, and SEO tools.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve rankings, visibility, and user experience.
  • Develop SEO roadmaps based on business priorities.
  • Requirements

    What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of SEO experience, with both technical and content expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress; able to implement technical and on-page optimizations directly.
  • Experience with tools such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, and PageSpeed Insights.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as it relates to SEO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred

  • Experience with schema markup and structured data.
  • Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and site performance optimization.
  • Background in content strategy or broader digital marketing.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a contract role.
