Job Duties and Responsibilities

Echostar is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join its Regulatory Engineering and Operations team. This role is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, and testing of critical 911 Emergency Services for Boost Mobile and will report to the Manager of Regulatory Engineering and Operations.

A strategic part of the Boost Mobile business, this role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with organizations and to influence public safety outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and maintain the stability and performance of Echostar’s 911 services and platforms
• Assess service impacts and support maintenance activities
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to 911 systems
• Analyze logs and KPIs from multiple platforms and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to identify and mitigate complex issues
• Implement and test network enhancements or issues
• Implement best practices to maintain compliance and optimize emergency services operations
• Maintain accurate documentation, processes, and procedures for 911 operations
• Participate in incident troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis and recommend process or system improvements
• Participate in or lead 911 / NG911 technology roadmap planning
• Define and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor 911 performance and compliance
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation : $96,250.00 / Year - $140,000.00 / Year
