Job descriptionValid US Driver's License + Clean Driving Record Strength to lift 50lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces. Eagerness to learn and willingness to train. High School Diploma or GED Previous aviation experience preferred. Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods Ability to hear and speak clearly on the phone and in meetings (in person or virtual) Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment. Line Service Technician
Tradewind Aviation is a leading Part 135 commuter and on-demand private charter operator with operational bases at the Waterbury / Oxford, CT, Westchester, NY, Stuart, FL, and San Juan, PR airports. Founded by aviation enthusiasts in 2001 on the premise that all flights deserve the highest quality aircraft, crew, and service, Tradewind provides personal air travelboth private and scheduled servicethroughout North America and the Caribbean.
Tradewind Aviation is looking for a Line Service Technician to work out of our base location in Oxford, CT. The individual should be attentive to detail and have exceptional problem-solving skills.
Essential Job Functions
- The movement of all aircraft in the hangar.
- Fueling aircraft.
- Maintaining the upkeep of the hangar and office areas.
- Maintaining hangar equipment.
- Performing general groundskeeping.
- Manage inventory at our CT bases.
- Travel to other bases as needed.
- Performing other assigned duties.
