As a Licensed Heavy Equipment Operator Journeyman, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery used in the construction, excavation, demolition, and installation of systems. Position may be located at Cheyenne Mountain SFS, Peterson SFB, and / or Schriever SFB. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities :

• Provides OSP services requiring trenching, loaders, dump trucks, etc.
• Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation sites to aid daily operations.
• Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved OSP solution.
• Operates hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
• Prepares sites; digs trenches; sets braces to support the sides of excavations; erects scaffolding; and cleans up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
• Assists in restoration activities to return site to previous condition before project work.

High School diploma

Experience / Skills :

5 Years Professional operator's license for heavy machinery.
