As a Patrol Armed Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do :

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at assigned utility locations, providing customer service to clients and visitors.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, using sound judgment appropriate to the situation.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Monitor and report on any suspicious activity or security-related hazards within the location, escalating as needed.

Assist with access control by verifying identification and screening individuals entering the property.

Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Document incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports to maintain accurate records for the location.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
