LPN FLOOR NURSE NEEDED for Every other Weekend

Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, newly constructed in 2018 - state of the art facility conveniently located at 9938 airline highway in the heart of the city at the intersection of I-12 and Airline Hwy.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provides skilled nursing care to patients as directed by the registered nurse and physician's plan of care in accordance with hospital policy.
• Promotes and maintains patient health through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures under the guidance of the registered nurse
• Dispenses medication under the direction of the registered nurse and according to physician orders
• Dictates and writes progress notes for one to one & group sessions in accordance with policies and procedures
• Advises Director of Nursing / Administrator of any risk management activities in order to reduce or eliminate patient / staff / visitor injuries, illnesses, death, and / or financial loss.
