• Brief Job Description :
• Cut / inspect material to job-specific criteria, using a tube laser. Edit programs and tech tables to ensure the machine is producing a quality part. Deburr parts to job-specific criteria, using fabrication equipment. Prepare orders. Prioritize orders and plan a method to complete each in a timely manner. Notify the quality manager of substandard materials. In addition, perform the following functions to ensure a safe and efficient shop to meet the customers needs : Operate safely at all times and point out any possible safety concerns to the appropriate person (and a supervisor when appropriate). Maintain equipment and building. Other duties as assigned. At least one year of successful performance in a shop environment. Able to set up and operate a tube laser. Previous blueprint reading and use of measuring equipment (i.e. calipers, mics, tape, etc.) Previous forklift experience.
