Description : RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Coordinating, consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and / or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate that restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach maximum potential.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
None.
MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech / Language Pathology. BLS certification through AHA.
