7P - 7A

Must have : BLS

Ability to manage chest tubes, trauma patients, trachs, suction

Preferred or nice to have :  ACLS

Best personality Fit : Team-player Highly acute patient population so someone who likes a challenge

Unit Information : Number of Beds- 20

Number of Staff- 40

Type of staff : Day Shift 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses, 3 techs. Night Shift 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses, 2 techs

Patient Ratios : 1 : 4, charge free of patients -Estimated ratios, not guaranteed

Type of equipment : Vents, Feeding Pumps, IV Pumps, Wound Vacs, Specialty beds, Suction, Chest Tubes

EMR- Meditech

List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Place chest tube Bedside bronch.
