Clinical Pediatric Dermatologist Opportunity

Overview

Duke Dermatology is seeking dermatologists to join the faculty with a focus on Pediatric Dermatology in the Raleigh-Durham, NC, area. We have excellent opportunities that allow for a primary focus on patient care, as well as pursuing academic endeavors including teaching and other scholarly work, tailored to your career interests and development. Candidates should have an interest in education and / or research. Potential for leadership roles are available, if so desired. The department is committed to supporting individual academic and clinical interests.

Responsibilities

• Patients four days / week with an administrative and academic day
• All levels of experience are encouraged to apply (including new graduates)
• State-of-the-art facilities
• Diverse patient population
• Supportive, collegial academic environment
• Collaboration within and across departments is encouraged
• Strong mentorship program for junior and mid-career faculty for advancement
• Ability to work alongside 35+ world-renowned faculty
• Call is minimal, rotated among all Dermatology Department faculty

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional, compassionate care for patients with skin disorders, including those with the most complex and severe conditions, while upholding the highest ethical standards. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to the values and mission of academic medicine.
