BrightStar Care is a trusted provider of home care services for developmentally disabled individuals as well as private home care services in the Central Ohio area (Franklin and surrounding counties). We are committed to empowering individuals and their families by delivering personalized, compassionate care under the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) services.

As we grow, we are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven professional to join our team as a Community Outreach Sales Coordinator . This key role combines community outreach, client engagement, and sales, helping families access the essential care services they need.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, county boards, support coordinators, and community partners
  • Identify individuals and families in need of DODD-funded home care services and present our offerings in a compassionate, solution-oriented way
  • Conduct outreach efforts, including attending community events, networking with service coordinators, and meeting with families
  • Collaborate with internal care teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Track outreach activity, leads, and conversions using CRM software
  • Represent the organization with professionalism and care, always advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities

Required Qualifications :

  • Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (professional or lived experience)
  • Familiarity with Ohio DODD services, funding streams, and county board systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in sales, community outreach, or client engagement
  • Ability to travel locally throughout assigned region
  • Passion for advocacy and improving the lives of people with disabilities

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Marketing, or related field
  • Existing relationships with county board staff, SSA’s, or provider networks
  • Experience in a home care or healthcare service environment
