Responsibilities Position is based in a hospital float pool serving multiple units Patient assignments include individuals with a wide range of health conditions from simple to complex Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, three days per week Must have medical-surgical / stepdown experience; ICU experience is preferred Float between various units as needed Responsibilities include patient assessments, administering medications, assisting with minor procedures, and documenting care Work under general supervision and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members First-time travelers are eligible for consideration Dress code or scrubs to be confirmed during onboarding Workers may extend one time for a total of 26 weeks and must have a 6-month break before reapplying Requirements Current RN license issued by Oklahoma or multistate compact RN license (eNLC) is required BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience in med / surg or stepdown Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required; BSN is preferred Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628898.
