Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, landscape construction, and maintenance. This role requires hands-on leadership in the field and the ability to manage a crew to complete high-end landscape projects on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team on job sites for landscape installation and maintenance projects
• Oversee and participate in planting, pruning, mulching, lawn care, and seasonal clean-ups
• Execute hardscape installations including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and drainage systems
• Install and troubleshoot low-voltage landscape lighting systems
• Interpret and implement landscape design plans and specifications
• Ensure safety, quality control, and efficiency on all job sites
• Communicate effectively with clients and project managers
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment and vehicles
• Train and mentor crew members as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in landscaping with demonstrated leadership experience
• Extensive knowledge of horticulture , drainage systems , hardscaping , landscape lighting , and property maintenance
• Strong understanding of plant care, materials, and construction techniques
• Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus)
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
